Duties include interpreting drawings, preparing estimates and BOQs, tracking expenditures, planning procurement, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance. The role balances quality, cost, and risk, fostering collaboration, accountability, ethical sourcing, and data-driven decisions that support sustainability and competitive advantage.

- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred, not essential.)
- ERP or project management system experience (Sage, SAP, Monday.com and/or MS Projects preferred).
- Advanced Excel
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in technical procurement within fabrication, power generation, or heavy engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, fabrication drawings, and materials (carbon/stainless steel, fasteners, valves, piping, etc.).
