We are thrilled to share the outstanding success of EnFloTech’s Operational and Technical Advancements Conference held on 06 November 2024 for Medupi and Matimba Power Stations! This event marked a significant milestone for EnFloTech, standing as one of the most successful and impactful conferences in our history.

We were deeply honoured to welcome esteemed Eskom executives, along with many members of the Engineering and Milling Plant teams from Medupi, Matimba and Kusile Power Stations. Their participation elevated the discussions, highlighting the vital importance of collaboration in achieving operational excellence across our sector.

Our CEO, Pierre Goosen, opened the event with a warm welcome to all participants, setting the stage for a productive and insightful conference. He also presented an overview of EnFloTech’s history, highlighting the company’s journey, achievements, and contributions to the industry. Additionally, he outlined the purpose of the conference, emphasizing its importance in fostering collaboration, sharing innovative solutions, and addressing the unique challenges faced by Medupi and Matimba Power Stations.

GM Operations, Charlot Mabena, presented operational case studies, followed by EnFloTech’s overarching operational strategic approach.

Our GM of Shared Services, Corniel Zwaan, and Principal Engineer, Matt Muller, shared technical and engineering statistics, along with feasible studies tailored specifically for Medupi, Kusile and Matimba Power Stations. Their presentations also highlighted the successes EnFoTech has achieved at other Eskom power stations, showcasing our proven track record and expertise.

A glimpse of the feedback from Eskom participants was truly impressive. Many shared their appreciation for the substantial impact EnFloTech has made in the industry. They highlighted the realisation that EnFloTech not only thoroughly studies the scope of work but consistently goes the extra mile to deliver exceptional results. This dedication to exceeding expectations resonated strongly and reaffirmed EnFloTech’s reputation for excellence in the power generation sector.

This conference has further strengthened the collaboration between EnFloTech and Eskom, fostering a deeper understanding of the needs and tailored solutions for Medupi, Matimba, and the broader Eskom network.
