We do the full refurbishments of Trunnion Roller Assemblies in house. When it comes to the Mill Trunnion Roller assemblies, we can do everything from machining all new SG 60 and BS 3100 A1 castings to manufacturing and machining of new Roller and Trunnion shafts. At Lutinsi Engineering we use specialized welding processes and consumables for repairing old SG 40 castings on the assembly. In order to reduce the amount of jet wear resulting from the milling operation, specialized wear liners are installed.

Our latest throat designs are compatible with sub-optimal metrology (Oval mills) with tight tolerances.
The EnFloTech high-performance rotating throat range reduces unwanted rejecting, lowers peak velocities, lowers mill dP and guarantees at least a 10% increase in mill throughput. Another major advantage is the alleviation of wear to mill components which include the mill casings, ledge covers, dam rings, loading frames/spyders, wear cowls, roller assemblies and adjustable vanes. The below images indicate wear alleviation on milling components with the EnFloTech Version 5 rotating throat.
EnFloTech does not simply take the OEM approach, but instead we supply specialized solutions for maximum efficiency and performance with existing equipment. Listed below are a few of many specialized service and technologies we provide:
There are a couple of new and improved EnFloTech designs that we are looking forward to installing and testing at different Power Stations around the globe. These designs include patented technologies such as the Desander, modified V4 and V5 rotating throats and our new Labyrinth seal design. Our designs meet the requirements of the customer while improving the customers installation, operation, plant performance and maintenance experience.
The function of the exhauster fan is to supply the pressure that is required to transport the pulverized coal air mixture to the boiler. Exposure to the abrasive pulverized coal being transported at high velocity can lead to significant wear to exhauster fan components.
Countries are in lockdown worldwide and as with any company we had a lot of uncertainties of what the lockdown will bring. EnFloTech had a lot of hurdles that we needed to overcome in 2020. We would like to thank every employee for facing these hurdles head on and hereby ensuring that the company had a very successful year. We would also like to thank CMP Aljimm Engineering and Lutinsi Engineering of the EnFloTech group of companies for their continuous valued inputs and hard work. We are grateful for all your tremendous efforts and dedication this year. Wishing you all the best over the festive season.
This year would not have been possible if it were not for our valued customers. From everyone at EnFloTech, we would like to say thank you for your continued loyalty and faith in us. Put your feet up and have a well-deserved rest this Christmas and let every day of the holiday season be filled with joy. We look forward to working with you in the new year.
Coal Milling Projects was registered in 1977 by former Eskom Engineers Andy Robinson and Kotie Steyn to represent Southwestern USA and service Eskom Power Stations. The focus was on Milling Plants, supplying Throats and Classifiers to Eskom stations.
A perfect example hereof is the modified CMP V4/V5 rotating port ring design for Babcock E type mills.
The new CMP V4/V5 rotating port ring design was numerically analysed and the particle behaviour, wear patterns and flow conditions studied using CFD.
CMP specializes in custom designed milling plant technologies to help clients achieve plant performance goals and optimize plant efficiency. We are continuously improving our technologies, paving the way for coal fired power stations to achieve clean and efficient combustion.
